<p>Utah Community Action of Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking to hire a full-time Crew Person responsible for installing energy-efficient upgrades on qualified low-income residential structures according to Weatherization and industry guidelines. Work includes minor residential repairs, including installing doors, windows, duct and surface sealants, vapor barrier, insulation, framing, sheetrock, exhaust fans, and other energy-saving measures on various single-family and manufactured housing structures. The position requires regularly engaging with homeowners and demonstrating professionalism. Transportation, tools, and equipment are provided.</p> <p>This Crew Person position earns a competitive wage of $25.79/hour based on experience and credentials. We also offer generous benefits, including health, dental, vision, a flexible spending account (FSA), a healthcare spending account (HSA) with up to a $2,500 match, a 401k plan with 5% match, short and long-term disability, accident insurance, life insurance, 11 paid holidays, paid time off between Christmas and New Year's, paid time off (PTO), and an hour of paid time on Fridays for self-care.</p> <p>ABOUT UTAH COMMUNITY ACTION</p> <p>Founded in 1965, Utah Community Action is a nationally recognized nonprofit provider of comprehensive services for income-eligible families. We are committed to ending poverty and improving the lives of those living in our community.</p> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED. </li><li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Ability to pass a respirator fit test </li><li>2 years of residential construction experience (experience can include insulation, framing, remodeling, or other related fields). </li></ul> <p>TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>A valid driver's license must be maintained while employed in this position. </li><li>May be responsible for utilizing their personal vehicle for agency-related transportation. </li><li>May be responsible for driving an agency vehicle. </li></ul> <p>WORK SCHEDULE</p> <p>The typical work schedule is 7:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
