This role is focused on building a business-oriented, data-driven, and operationally supportive finance organization.</p> <p>Rather than a traditional accounting profile, we are looking for a commercially curious thinker who can turn financial data into insights and actions. The ideal candidate is hands-on, thrives in a dynamic environment, and can drive process improvement while acting as a strong business partner to the local Vice President and cross-functional teams.</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Senior FP&A Analyst will help shape strategic, data-driven decision making by analyzing financial performance and guiding forecasting and budgeting efforts. You will partner with leadership to support long-term planning, provide actionable insights and drive business growth. The role is very hands-on, with responsibilities in both financial planning & analysis and day to day financial accounting functions.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>Financial Planning & Analysis Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Provide the VP and functional leaders with clear performance insights and well-argued financial advice.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze margins, pricing, and product/customer profitability to support better decision-making</p> </li><li> <p>Bridge actuals, budget, and forecasts to drive performance transparency and accountability</p> </li><li> <p>Challenge the status quo with data-driven insights and help management take action</p> </li><li> <p>Support commercial and operational decisions through business case development and scenario analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure timely and insightful financial reporting, enabling effective control of the business.</p> </li><li> <p>Support the management reporting process (month-end, forecast, budget), in coordination with local accounting and global consolidation (OneStream)</p> </li><li> <p>Lead weekly/monthly KPI reporting and review routines with business stakeholders</p> </li><li> <p>Validate data integrity and ensure alignment between operational and financial metrics</p> </li><li> <p>Support audit and compliance activities</p> </li><li> <p>Be the driving force behind process reliability, automation, and better data usage.</p> </li><li> <p>Support ERP (Infor LN) and reporting tool optimization in alignment with the regional roadmap</p> </li><li> <p>Standardize recurring reports and automate manual work wherever possible</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure internal controls are in place and adhered to - without overcomplicating processes</p> </li><li> <p>Work seamlessly with other functions and regional teams to support group-wide improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with Sales, Operations, and Procurement to track KPIs and drive working capital efficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate with regional finance team in Canada for system and process alignment</p> </li><li> <p>Represent the US business in global finance projects and transformation initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for handling Corporate requests</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare monthly review updates to present to Corporate</p> </li></ul> <p>Financial Accounting Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare and monitor cash flow analysis and working capital</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare journal entries</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for cost accounting to include analysis of cost expenditures, evaluation of production efficiency and identifying cost-savings opportunities</p> </li></ul>
