<p>Description & Requirements</p> <p>The Healthcare Reimbursement team delivers specialized expertise in Medicare and Medicaid cost reporting, wage index reviews, and related services through regionally aligned practice units. With deep local knowledge, we help providers navigate complex regulations with precision and compliance. From accurate data analysis to strategic insights, Forvis Mazars offers tailored support that reflects regional nuances and maximizes reimbursement outcomes.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Contribute to a variety of financial, operational, and compliance projects </li><li>Assist in the preparation and review of annual Medicare and Medicaid cost reports </li><li>Support special projects related to: </li><li>Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) payments </li><li>Medicare Bad Debts and Cost Report Settlement issues </li><li>Contribute to state-level Medicaid projects, including: </li><li>Hospital supplemental payment programs </li><li>Medicaid reimbursement analysis and reporting </li><li>Conduct research on healthcare regulations and reimbursement policies </li><li>Analyze financial and operational data using technology tools and data visualization platforms </li><li>Participate in ongoing training and development to build expertise in healthcare finance and compliance </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field </li><li>1+ years of relevant experience in healthcare accounting or healthcare reimbursement </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree </li><li>Current and valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license </li></ul> <p>#LI-OKC, #LI-TULSA</p> <p>#LI-KH3</p>
