<p>Additional Information About the Role</p> <p>Behavioral Health - Residential Tech</p> <ul> <li>Shift: Sunday through Wednesday 8AM - 6PM </li><li>Purpose - To complete wellness checks on clients daily. To educate and prompt clients on independent living skills while residing in the group home. </li><li>Types of Clients - Clients with mental health diagnoses and/or substance use disorders who desire to learn independent living skills to eventually live in their own apartments. </li><li>Team dynamic - We are committed to what we do and motivated to help clients. We are creative and have excellent communication with each other. Everyone on this team are great team players but they are also responsible for their own work. </li><li>Location - Custered Colonial, 10010 S. Executive Dr. St. Ann, MO 63074 </li><li>Job Responsibilities - Complete daily rounds, prompt clients to clean their room, take meds and take care of hygiene, participate in chores, remind clients of their doctors' appointments, work with client and encourage them to reach their goals, advocate for clients; computer skills, effective communication skills, motivating/encouraging clients and teamwork </li><li>Typical Day - Coordinate client care with team members at the beginning of shift. Complete daily rounds by checking in with clients every 2 hours. Assist clients as needed and work with them on living skills. Document all visits same day of services in the system </li></ul> <p>Overview</p> <p>BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron and Washington counties.
