Because of this, we enjoy an incomparable reputation for cost-effective solutions with responsive services?with?uncompromising quality.</p> <p>What?you'll?be doing:</p> <p>We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Mechanic to help?maintain?the safety, functionality, and appearance of our facilities. This role supports routine and preventive maintenance,?assists?with minor repairs, and works closely with senior technicians on larger projects. The ideal candidate has a hands-on approach, basic knowledge of building systems, and a commitment to following safety standards.</p> <p>Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. </li><li>Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC equipment including air handlers, VAVs, RTUs, heat pumps, exhaust fans, and split systems. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, belts, bearings, air compressors, and fans. </li><li>Assist with maintenance and repair of plumbing systems including valves, fixtures, drainage, and circulation systems. </li><li>Support electrical maintenance including lighting, breakers, ballasts, and basic troubleshooting of circuits. </li><li>Assist with monitoring and basic troubleshooting of Building Automation Systems (BAS) as directed. </li><li>Perform general facility repairs including doors, locks, ceiling tiles, flooring, hardware, and basic carpentry. </li><li>Respond to work orders promptly and document completed tasks accurately. </li><li>Monitor building conditions and proactively identify maintenance issues or safety concerns. </li><li>Support compliance tasks including equipment logs, safety inspections, and regulatory documentation. </li><li>Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair activities. </li><li>Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in a safe and organized manner. </li></ul> <p>Maintenance Mechanic Requirements</p> <ul> <li>3-5+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, mechanical trades, or building operations. </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with experience servicing a variety of building equipment. </li><li>Working knowledge of HVAC operation, troubleshooting, and repair (required). </li><li>Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems such as pumps, motors, belts, and fans. </li><li>Basic electrical and plumbing maintenance skills. </li><li>Familiarity with Building Automation Systems and fundamental control sequences. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret diagrams, manuals, schematics, and work orders. </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. </li><li>Customer-service mindset with strong communication skills. </li><li>Basic computer literacy for CMMS systems, email, and documentation. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification. </li><li>Completion of a trade school, technical program, or apprenticeship. </li><li>Experience with CMMS or other digital work order platforms. </li><li>Experience in commercial, educational, industrial, or healthcare facilities. </li><li>Knowledge of OSHA safety practices, including lockout/tagout procedures. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment & Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on ladders, rooftops, and in mechanical rooms.</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to hot, cold, wet, or noisy environments depending on equipment and location.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, or climb for extended periods.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to participate in an on-call rotation or respond to after-hours emergencies.</p> </li><li> <p>CSI International, Inc. is?committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity and inclusion.
