<p>Job Details: Detail-oriented person responsible for managing daily and weekly schedules for multiple chemical manufacturing lines. Using MRP tools, Excel analysis, and ERP data, this person will plan production efficiently, ensure materials and capacity are aligned, and issue accurate batch records and shop orders to the production floor. This role requires a sharp eye for detail, strong data and Excel skills, and the ability to investigate and resolve issues that impact production flow.</p> <p>DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Use MRP and ERP systems (IFS preferred) and Excel to convert demand forecasts into production schedules for our chemical production lines, ensuring on-time order completion and optimal use of equipment and labor </li><li>Coordinate material and capacity requirements to align with production schedules </li><li>Analyze production data and identify scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, or resource constraints </li><li>Print and distribute batch records and shop orders accurately and in a timely manner </li><li>Expedite or defer orders as required based on schedule/inventory changes </li><li>Collaborate closely with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve issues and maintain production efficiency </li><li>Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to schedule adherence, changeover efficiency, and inventory accuracy. </li><li>Continuously improve planning and scheduling processes through data analysis and root cause investigation </li><li>Ensure and promote compliance to Company and Procurement policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related field (preferred) </li><li>3-5 years of experience as a Production Planner, Scheduler, or similar role in a manufacturing environment (chemical or process industry experience a plus) </li><li>Strong applied knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, and production scheduling principles </li><li>Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data-driven reporting </li></ul> <p>experience in working with ERP systems (IFS a plus)</p> <p>Knowledge, Abilities and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment </li><li>Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a self- directed manner, as needed </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills conflict management </li><li>Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail </li><li>Extremely high standards of excellence </li><li>Analytical and methodical approach to problem solving </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Office environment and frequent exposure to manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions. </li></ul> <p>Young Innovations, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and E-Verify participating employer.</p>
