<p>Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description</p> <p>The Lab Technician is responsible for preparing samples for the Flavorist and the Sales department, ensuring high quality and timely delivery.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepare formulation samples for customers. </li><li>Complete sample requests in a timely manner. </li><li>Maintain stock of current materials in the laboratory. </li><li>Keep Research & Development's completed formula batch tickets and file them monthly. </li><li>Assist Flavorists as needed. </li><li>Obtain all samples and ensure quality control approval prior to shipping to customers. </li><li>Keep the laboratory in order and ensure glassware is cleaned, dried, and put away. </li><li>Ensure all expired samples and raw materials are discarded properly. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience in R&D, Chemistry, Laboratory, and Formulation Development. </li><li>Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry, FDA regulations, and Compounding. </li><li>2 - 4 years of experience working in a lab setting. </li><li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. </li><li>Ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet tight deadlines. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Proven organizational skills. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or an equivalent area. </li><li>Experience in Pharmaceutical, Food Chemistry, and Food Science. </li><li>Ability to give and receive constructive feedback. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment. </li><li>Regular presence in the office required. </li><li>Some travel may be required. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The role is based in an R&D Laboratory, where Lab Coats and PPE are necessary.
