<p>Practice Opportunities</p> <p>APRN/PA - Gynecology/Urogynecology (FT) - Lakeland, FL</p> <p>Practicing Gynecologist/Urogynecologist is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join the team and help expand services in Gynecology. This is a great opportunity for a motivated APP with an interest in women's health to work closely with an experienced physician and team in a collaborative clinical environment.</p> <p>This position generally follows a Monday through Friday schedule (8am-5pm). Candidates must be available for occasional after-hours phone calls and hospital rounding.</p> <p>Prior PA/ APRN experience in Women's Health, Urology or GYN required.</p> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Providing comprehensive primary healthcare to adult & adolescent patients, including ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests within the scope of practice </li><li>Accurately perform history and physical examinations </li><li>Consults, co-manages and refers patients as appropriate </li><li>Prescribes medications as delegated in protocol and procedures </li><li>Completes necessary documentation in a timely manner </li><li>Writes orders for medications, treatments, tests & IV fluids consistent with scope of practice of the physician and PA </li><li>Providing assessment of patients medical, physical & psychological status </li><li>Documents examination results & records progress notes and provides continuity of care </li><li>Open to learning pessary fittings and maintenance, biopsies, implantable contraception modalities, pelvic floor therapy & pelvic floor diagnostic testing </li><li>BLS certification required. * </li></ul> <p>This position earns competitive compensation plus a full benefits package including 401(k) with match!
