<p>The Bike Shop Attendant's duties include the set-up and break-down of bike shop, daily cash reports, minimal computer work and minor maintenance.</p> <p>Essential job FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Set up and break down of bike shop at beginning and end of day</p> </li><li> <p>Moving and cleaning bikes as necessary</p> </li><li> <p>Rent bikes and other equipment to guests at the resort</p> </li><li> <p>Answering questions for guest and solving problems</p> </li><li> <p>Keeping Bike Shop and surrounding areas clean of trash and other unsightly items</p> </li><li> <p>Keeping Bike Shop and surrounding areas free of tools and other maintenance needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining accurate records and handling cash daily</p> </li><li> <p>Filling out daily tally sheets for cash bank</p> </li><li> <p>Ringing charges into POS computer system</p> </li><li> <p>Making cash deposits</p> </li><li> <p>Checking bike upon send out and return for safety issues</p> </li><li> <p>Informing guests of bike safety</p> </li><li> <p>Providing guests proper safety equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests of Wild Dunes Resort including use of guest name & good eye contact with each guest</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities as well as any special events</p> </li><li> <p>Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information</p> </li><li> <p>Always maintains a professional demeanor and attitude</p> </li><li> <p>Reports to work on time and according to posted schedule</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains a professional appearance. Follows all Wild Dunes Resort dress code standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Remains alert, courteous and helpful to the guests and colleagues at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be at least 16 years old</p> </li><li> <p>CPR and First Aid certifications are preferred</p> </li><li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Prior hospitality experience preferred</p> </li><li> <p>One year of customer service experience preferred</p> </li></ul>
