<p>Job Description:</p> <p>GLASTONBURY PUBLIC SCHOOLS</p> <p>Glastonbury, Connecticut</p> <p>NOTICE OF VACANCY</p> <p>POSITION:</p> <p>Paraprofessional, Special Education - TEMPORARY</p> <p>Full-Time (Non-Union Position)</p> <p>Glastonbury High School</p> <ul> <li>The location of your assignment is subject to change based on student needs in the district. </li></ul> <p>WAGES:</p> <p>$20.15 per hourly/Pay Group C</p> <p>SCHEDULE:</p> <p>Monday through Friday</p> <p>31.4 hours per week</p> <p>DUTIES:</p> <p>Responsible for the support of students receiving Special Education services across school environments. Duties include supporting students with academic tasks; implementing behavior intervention plans; facilitating social interaction with peers; data collection.</p> <p>Assists students in self-care areas as needed, including but not limited to personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, dressing, mobility and lifting. Performs related duties as required or as assigned.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Ability to relate well to students with disabilities, to follow a schedule with flexibility to changes. Must be able to assist students in self-care areas, which may include lifting.
