<p>County Waste-Sierra Processing (Recycling Processing Facility) is looking to add an Industrial Mechanic to the Recycling team in Albany, NY.</p> <p>Pay: $21-26/hr depending on relevant experience</p> <p>Hours: 10:30a-8p</p> <p>Days: Mon-Fri</p> <p>As a mechanic with us the minimum responsibilities are:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform repairs and inspections, safety checks, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulics on plant equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize computer electrical systems to interpret failure modes to identify and adjust plant machinery</p> </li><li> <p>Respond to emergency repairs</p> </li><li> <p>Reviewing and/or Completing or repairs</p> </li><li> <p>Completing required paperwork utilizing maintenance software programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Testing machine after services and repairs</p> </li><li> <p>Helping other team members with repairs as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Having professional and courteous interactions with all team members</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>What we need from you:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Troubleshoot and perform electrical and mechanical repairs as needed on the plant equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure operation of the mechanical equipment and machinery by performing preventative maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Perform daily inspection of all equipment to minimize unforeseen breakdowns</p> </li><li> <p>Install wear parts on conveyors, screens, optical sorters,</p> </li><li> <p>Adjusts work priorities as necessary to meet production needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multi-task and work under limited supervision</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to perform physical requirements such as bending, reaching, stretching, and lifting</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to work in a noisy environment</p> </li><li> <p>Basic mechanic tools required</p> </li><li> <p>Must comply with plant safety practices</p> </li></ul> <p>What you'll get from us:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Competitive Compensation</p> </li><li> <p>401(K) with company match; let us help you save for your future</p> </li><li> <p>Healthcare; Medical, Dental, Vision</p> </li><li> <p>Perks, perks, perks!
