Job Summary</p> <p>Develops and implements the strategic sourcing and vendor relationship strategies, essential to WM National Accounts (WMNS).</p> <p>II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Procures services throughout 3rd party Vendor networks </li><li>Maintains and cultivates Vendor relationships. </li><li>Manages the selection, acquisition and monitoring of contractual agreements for service agreements for WM customers. </li><li>Works closely with the business and operations to understand their needs and serves as the point of contact for all purchases, deliveries and problems with products and services. </li><li>Responsible for resolving escalated 3rd party vendor issues. </li><li>Articulates and negotiates service level agreements. </li><li>Develops, or assists in the development of Request for Information (RFIs), Request for Proposal (RFPs) and business cases. </li><li>Qualifies vendors and maintains an approved vendor database and tracking system. </li><li>Maintains contact with vendors to manage the status and quality of service and the progress toward contractual commitments. </li><li>Continually seeks optimal value in service from vendors, reviewing and monitoring performance and return-on-investment metrics and initiating contract modifications. </li><li>Cultivates, develops and maintains vendor relationships in alignment with WMNS and WM Market area strategies. </li><li>Pursues new vendor relationships as needed. </li></ul> <p>III. Qualifications</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.</p> <p>A. Education and Experience</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience.</p> <p>Experience: Five years of prior work experience (in addition to education requirement).</p> <p>B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements</p> <p>None required</p> <p>IV. Work Environment</p> <p>Office: This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc.</p> <p>The expected base pay range for this hybrid position is $105,000-$120,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>At WM, each eligible employee receives a competitive total compensation package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Short Term Disability.
