<p>Lead Data Engineer</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Lead Data Engineers-Data & Analytics</p> <p>13135 W Lisbon Road, Brookfield, WI 53005</p> <p>Job Duties</p> <ul> <li>Work with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into technical data requirements and designs. </li><li>Work closely with data engineers and data architects to design and build data pipelines for the Enterprise Data Warehouse environment. May lead and mentor team members. </li><li>Apply Enterprise Data Warehouse Design, Data Modelling, and Data Architecture best practices. </li><li>Demonstrate attention to detail, organization, and work to drive projects to completion in accordance with established priorities. </li><li>Leverage the Data Engineering team to move quickly to build solutions while maintaining a high level of quality and agility. </li><li>Leverage expertise within the software development lifecycle, continuous improvement, and best practices to help drive the team towards rapid success. </li></ul> <p>Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, and 7 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or related; OR Master's or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, and 5 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect, or related.</p> <p>Experience must include:</p> <ul> <li>Enterprise data management </li><li>Cloud infrastructure and data processing on Microsoft Azure </li><li>Designing, building, and optimizing Azure data pipelines </li><li>Azure data components (ADLS, ADF, Databricks, Synapse or DevOps) </li><li>Modern programing language (Python or Spark) in the data transformation context </li><li>SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers </li><li>Designing and implementing Data Vault models using metadata driven frameworks </li><li>RDBMS, data modeling, ETL development, and data storage </li><li>Designing and working with distributed and event architectures </li><li>Data governance and metadata management tools </li></ul> <p>Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally, including bi-monthly travel to Brookfield, WI headquarters.
