<p>Piper Companies is seeking a Embedded Engineer (Raleigh) for a company that enables software solutions across a wide variety of Datacenter, Service-Provider and Enterprise products. You would join committed and passionate engineers working on core networking/fabric technologies. Must be local to Raleigh, NC</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Embedded Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to assist with new features, issues, and customer support for the open-source server </li><li>Participate in the design, implementation, support, documentation, and testing of the clients and the server </li><li>Manage the strategic development of new and existing plugins </li><li>Comfortable working with infrastructure and containers </li></ul> <p>Qualifications of the Embedded Engineer:</p> <ul> <li>1 - 3 years of Embedded/hardware experience </li><li>Strong development experience using C++ </li><li>Strong experience with Software Device Driven </li><li>Preferred experience with firmware and kernel </li><li>Strong familiarity with Linux and the command line </li><li>Bachelor's Degree is required </li><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States </li><li>(Bonus) Experience with scripting languages (Python preferred) or relational databases (SQL) </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <p>$60,000 - $100,000</p> <p>Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave</p> <p>This job opens for applications on 5/12/2025.
