<p>Overview</p> <p>CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (BSAD)</p> <p>Bowhead seeks a Configuration Managment Specialist to support our upcoming contract located in Charleston, SC.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Contributes to a Configuration Control Board in order to define and implement lifecycle management processes related to the release of new product baselines </li><li>Contributes to and guides change management and product configuration management efforts related to hardware and software levels of efforts (LOEs) </li><li>Controls and updates documentation relating to existing managed system level baselines </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and 10 years of hardware/software configuration management experience </li><li>Five (5) years as configuration management in ISR/IO or C4ISR systems. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. </li><li>Individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle. </li><li>Individual shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance. </li><li>Proficient with utilizing Git and DevOps tools for automation, reporting, and CM (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Similar). </li><li>Demonstrated experience maintaining and controlling production level system hardware and software baselines and associated system level inventories </li><li>Experience working directly in a customer facing role to include conducting high level briefings and data calls </li><li>Clear written and verbal communications skills </li><li>Must meet eligibility requirements for a position of trust in order to obtain a Federal ID to start </li></ul> <p>DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Direct experience with one or more of the following Navy ACAT and AAP programs is preferred:Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Family of Systems (FoS), (Spectral as the follow-on SSEE system is contained within the SSEE FoS), Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP), SSEE Ship New Construction (SCN), Foreign Military Sales (FMS) United Kingdom (UK)/New Zealand (NZ), Distributed Common Ground System - Navy (DCGS-N) FoS, Intelligence Carry-On Program (ICOP), Joint Tactical Terminal - Maritime (JTT-M), Automatic Identification System, (AIS), Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA), and Integrated Communications and Data Systems (ICADS) </li><li>Proficiency in DoD Acquisition and Life-Cycle Management policies and procedures </li><li>Experience using CMPRO, JIRA, and SAFE AGILE </li><li>Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) </li><li>Familiarity with FIAR (Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness) compliance standards </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 10-20 pounds </li><li>Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time </li><li>Must be able to twist, bend, and squat periodically </li></ul> <p>SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must be able to maintain a security clearance at the Top Secret level.
