This role communicates through the layers of management, knowing when to escalate matters to Leadership and how to communicate uncertainty. It establishes divisional goals, translates Executive Leadership's vision into innovative solutions, and ensures workforce accountability by implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, proficiency, and workforce availability. The Chief Officer allocates resources effectively, balances stakeholder interests, and supports system expansion, recovery, and resiliency efforts, as well as the Capital Program and growing ridership.
