Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface</p> <p>between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system. Formulates and designs software system, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of</p> <p>design. Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation. Consults with customer concerning maintenance of software system. May coordinate installation of software system.</p> <p>We are looking for a Computer Vision Engineer with a strong background in computer vision who is enthusiastic to Client and implement solutions on our Robotics platforms. Your contributions will help shape the future of our robots.</p> <ul> <li>What You Bring to the Team </li></ul> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or a combination of education and experience</p> <p>3+ years of experience in working with computer vision algorithms.</p> <p>Expertise in Python, C++, and SQL</p> <p>Expertise with OpenCV and home-rolled systems</p> <p>Ability to work unsupervised to meet deadlines</p> <p>Experience with Linux and AWS administration and familiar with basic network concepts</p> <p>Experience with Javascript</p> <ul> <li>You'll go beyond if you have </li></ul> <p>Previous robotics experience</p> <p>Experience working with AI/Client for image processing and recognition</p> <p>Experience with 3D printers and/or 3D printer software</p> <p>Interest and experience within the hobby gaming industry, sports cards and collectable cards</p> <p>Roca Robotics- sort collectible cards</p> <p>Run image recognition software to list and sell on eBay marketplace</p> <p>Joining computer vision team</p> <p>Working with Open CV - not much AI or Machine Learning used</p> <p>Expand into sports cards- identifying, organizing, and sorting them</p> <p>Working with the robots writing and interacting code- not primary responsibility</p> <p>Building new robotic hardware and looking to test the hardware</p>
