The OB Technician will scrub for surgical procedures for C-Sections and will provide personal care and comfort to patients in the Delivery Room. When the Operating Rooms are quiet, you are trained to provide patient care for new moms / moms-to-be. And employee parking is always free!</p> </li></ul> <p>Position: OB Tech</p> <p>Shift: Per Diem 36 hours in 6 week schedule. Of the 6 hours 4 hours must fall on the weekend. Rotational holidays are required.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Previous surgical tech or Patient Care Technician experience preferred</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>Successful completion of a surgical technologist program sponsored by an entity holding nationally recognized institutional or programmatic accreditation, or through the US Army, Navy, or Air Force.</p> <p>Licensures/Certifications:</p> <ol> <li>Certification preferred, if surgical technician training occurred on or before 12/29/2020 and candidate </li></ol> <p>practiced clinically at any time during the two preceding years.</p> <ol start="2"> <li> <p>Certification required if surgical training took place on or after 12/29/2020</p> </li><li> <p>MLH may employ or contract an ST who does not meet the requirements above (from section 501HB81) to practice surgical technology if: (1) after a diligent and thorough effort has been made, the facility is unable to employ or contract with a sufficient number of qualified STs who meet the requirements of section 501; and (2) the health care facility makes a written record of its efforts under (1) and retains the record at the facility.</p> </li></ol> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.</p> <p>Additional Information</p> <ul> <li>Requisition ID: 73229 </li><li>Employee Status: Regular </li><li>Schedule: Part-time </li><li>Shift: Day Job </li><li>Pay Range: $22.05 - $34.17 </li><li>Job Grade: 207 </li></ul>
