<p>The Facilities Manager ensures that all physical assets-including buildings, grounds, and manufacturing equipment-are maintained in a safe, efficient, and compliant manner. This role is critical for minimizing downtime, supporting production, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the facility.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Enforce health and safety protocols aligned with OSHA and local regulations. </li><li>Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and emergency drills. </li><li>Maintain compliance documentation and records of inspections. </li><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for machinery and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing). </li><li>Schedule and oversee repairs, renovations, and upgrades to minimize production disruptions. </li><li>Negotiate contracts with vendors and monitor service performance. </li><li>Procure parts, supplies, and equipment for facility upkeep. </li><li>Maintain and update emergency response plans. </li><li>Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies during incidents. </li><li>Supervise contractors. </li><li>Organize safety training programs and ensure proper PPE usage. </li><li>Promote a safety-first culture through regular meetings and communication. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of building systems: HVAC, plumbing, electrical </li><li>Familiarity with OSHA standards and environmental regulations. </li><li>Excellent organizational and leadership skills. </li><li>Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships. </li><li>Preferred certifications: Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP). </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred). </li><li>5+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance management within a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Hands on experience with Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC </li><li>Proven track record in safety compliance and preventive maintenance programs. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Employee Type: Salaried</p> <p>Salary Minimum: $110,000</p> <p>Salary Maximum: $145,000</p> <p>Incentive: No</p> <p>Disclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
