<p>Overview</p> <p>Great Day Improvements Manufacturing (Macedonia, OH) - Quality Technician</p> <p>3rd SHIFT - 10p to 6a</p> <p>Pays up to $21 Hourly + Benefits</p> <p>As of the Quality Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring the daily Manufactured products and will assist in leading a lean manufacturing environment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Inspecting finished products and raw materials samples using appropriate devices to ensure conformity. </li><li>Performing pre-production and in-production tests of equipment, material, and manufactured products. </li><li>Determining the causes of product defects and proposing improvements to the production process. </li><li>Reading and interpreting blueprints, standards, procedures, and work instructions to comprehend the quality expectations. </li><li>Checking that the production line adheres to standards and procedures. </li><li>Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence. </li><li>Communicating with Managers/ Production Supervisors and team members. </li><li>Providing daily reports to the Quality Supervisor. </li><li>Additional duties as needed. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years' experience in manufacturing. </li><li>2+ years' experience in QC is preferred. </li><li>Good written and verbal skills. </li><li>Proficient in the use of measuring devices, gauging, and working with close tolerances. </li><li>Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite is desired but not mandatory. </li><li>Able to work scheduled overtime on a regular basis. </li><li>Open to work different shifts when needed and as business dictates. </li><li>Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. </li></ul> <p>GDI is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer</p> <p>#INDGDIM</p>
