We are the rebellious hero.</p> <p>This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the manufacturing or production</p> <p>process to ensure timely delivery of products while maximizing efficiency and minimizing costs. In</p> <p>this role you will act as a bridge between production, procurement, and sales.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Develop and maintain production schedules:</p> <ul> <li>Create and update production schedules based on customer demands, resource availability, and production capacity. </li><li>Coordinate with the production team to ensure schedules are communicated effectively and executed efficiently. </li><li>Analyze and address any potential scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks to minimize downtime and optimize productivity. </li></ul> <p>Monitor and manage inventory levels:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials and components to support production schedules. </li><li>Regularly review inventory levels, identify any discrepancies or shortages, and take necessary actions to mitigate risks and maintain optimal stock levels. </li><li>Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency. </li></ul> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams:</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the sales, engineering, and procurement teams to gather information on customer orders, delivery dates, and product specifications. </li><li>Liaise with the production, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to address any production issues or equipment maintenance requirements that may impact schedules. </li><li>Coordinate with the shipping and logistics team to ensure on-time delivery of finished goods and resolve any transportation-related challenges. </li></ul> <p>Continuous process improvement:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze production data, identify trends, and propose improvements to enhance production efficiency, reduce lead times, and optimize resource allocation. </li><li>Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence. </li><li>Collaborate with the operations management team to implement best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and lean manufacturing principles. </li></ul> <p>Documentation and reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of production schedules, inventory levels, and any relevant production data. </li><li>Generate reports on production performance, including key metrics, adherence to schedules, and any deviations or variances. </li><li>Present reports and updates to the management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions. </li></ul>
