<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Prepares patients for procedures, assumes responsibility for patient needs during procedures. Performs procedures with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner, adhering to the protocols outlined in the department's procedure manual upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist.</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of Sonography Program Preferred </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>3 years Medical Imaging - Sonographer Preferred </li></ul> <p>Certifications/Licensures:</p> <ul> <li> <p>BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required</p> </li><li> <p>Currently credentialed with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, with a current RDMS license with subspecialty registries in Abdomen and OB/GYN, and current RVT license</p> </li><li> <p>BR Breast Certification - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Required at sites that perform Diagnostic Mammography, if performing diagnostic breast ultrasound - Must be obtained within 90 days of hire</p> </li><li> <p>OB/GYN - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Must be obtained within 90 days of hire</p> </li><li> <p>RVT Registered Vascular Technologist - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography - Must be btained within 90 days of hire, with the exception of new graduates, who must obtain their RVT license within 14 months</p> </li><li> <p>If the technologist is unable to comply in acquiring their missing sub-specialty license due to extenuating circumstances, one 90-day extension can be granted only at the discretion of the Medical Imaging Director</p> </li></ul> <p>Work shifts: 0700-1530,0730-1600,0800-1630,0830-1700,1145-2015</p> <p>Work Shift:</p> <p>08.0 Per Diem No Waive (United States of America)</p> <p>Pay Range:</p> <p>$79.65 - $115.42</p> <p>Hourly</p> <p>Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.</p> <p>Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.</p> <p>Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
