<p>Overview</p> <p>Location: CONNRI Lodge (Ashford, CT)</p> <p>Status: Non-exempt, On-call</p> <p>Scope & Purpose of Position: To support various programs/events at Camp CONNRI and the CONNRI Lodge.</p> <p>Learn more about Camp CONNRI and the Lodge at https://easternusa.salvationarmy.org/southern-new-england/connri-lodge--conference-center/</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that trash throughout the area is being maintained. </li><li>Perform any reasonable task that is asked of the event's Director. </li><li>Reorganize chairs after each meeting, as needed. </li><li>Set up chairs, tables, and any other needed equipment. </li><li>Ensure proper portion size in the delivery of all meals. </li><li>Ensure that all meals are prepared according to the approved menus. </li><li>Ensure that the kitchen area is kept clean and sanitary. </li><li>Maintain efficient preparation and delivery of all meals. </li><li>Maintain inventory and meal preparation records. </li><li>Set up and clean before and after each meal /event: sweep floors, pick up trash, arrange chairs neatly, etc. </li><li>Make sure furniture, computers, etc., are arranged neatly. </li><li>Stock needed supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc.). </li><li>Sweep, vacuum, mop, and empty trash in housing units, </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to provide transportation to and from the work site. </li><li>Will respect and promote the interest of The Salvation Army.
