When you join Crown Castle, you become part of a dynamic team of passionate and collaborative professionals engaging in complex challenges and contributing to projects that shape the future of life and work.</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p> <p>As the Director, Data & Analytics, you will be responsible for defining and executing the analytics strategy across the enterprise by partnering with stakeholders to understand business needs and leading a team to develop operational and advanced analytics solutions that transforms raw data into strategic business insights bridging the gap between technical data and executive decision-making.</p> <p>WHAT YOU WILL DO</p> <ul> <li>Develop enterprise data strategy and execute the analytics roadmap ensuring data initiatives align with long-term business goals. </li><li>Lead the evolution of reporting modernization, predictive analytics, and automation initiatives. </li><li>Champion a data-driven culture by enabling leaders and teams to use insights for decision-making </li><li>Serve as the primary analytics liaison to executive leaders and business stakeholders to understand priorities, and analytics needs facilitating cross-functional projects and driving alignment. </li><li>Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing analytics team including data analysts, data scientists, and BI developers. </li><li>Oversee the design, development, and delivery of dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and ad-hoc analytical projects. </li><li>Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that influence business strategy and performance. </li><li>Establish best practices for analytics processes, methodologies, and documentation. </li><li>Ensure data quality, consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across the organization. </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED</p> <p>Education/Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field. </li><li>Master's degree and/or MBA preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience & Skills:</p> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data science required </li><li>Proven track record of driving data strategy and delivering impactful business insights. </li><li>5+ years' experience leading data/analytics teams or managing direct reports required </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and influence, resolve conflicts, and motivate teams in fast-paced environments. </li><li>Deep understanding of SQL, Python, or R, alongside statistical modeling and machine learning tools and techniques required. </li><li>Understanding of data visualization and big data platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Apache Spark, etc.) </li><li>AI first mindset and demonstrable understanding of GenAI use cases in data analytics products for productivity and process enhancement </li><li>Prior telecommunications and infrastructure industry experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Where You Will Work</p> <p>This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 1-day work from home (typically Friday but may vary depending on the position) and 4-days in the office to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement, and may require some travel as needed.</p> <p>YOUR COMPANY BENEFITS</p> <p>At Crown Castle, we do our best to ensure you have access to the resources you need to live a healthy and happy life no matter where you are in life. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location.
