The preferred but negotiable start date is August 1, 2025. Academic rank will be negotiated at the time of hire following the promotion guidelines for clinical faculty at the department, college and university levels.</p> <p>Applicants should possess a strong desire to teach and advise osteopathic medical students within the curriculum and contribute to the success of the Heritage College and its campuses through teaching and service. Candidates must have outstanding leadership, management, and interpersonal skills to relate to a diverse faculty, staff, students and community members.</p> <p>The successful applicant will have special interest and qualifications in the practice and teaching of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and deliver curricular and other scholarly activities. </li><li>Teach courses assigned to the Department of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM). </li><li>Participate in the ongoing programs and program development of the Department of OMM including pre- and postdoctoral training and other scholarly activities as appropriate. </li><li>Teach the clinical application of osteopathic principles and manipulative medicine in ambulatory and hospital-based practices. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an American Osteopathic Association (AOA)-approved osteopathic college </li><li>Satisfactory completion of an AOA-approved internship and AOA-approved residency program </li><li>Board eligible for or Board certified by the AOA </li><li>Ohio Licensure or credentials allowing same </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Additional certification or eligibility for certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine </li></ul> <p>Department HCOM - Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) Pay Rate</p> <p>Salary will be commensurate with education, experience, and rank while also considering internal equity.
