<p>Production Associate III, Woodlake Market - Kohler</p> <p>Work Mode: Onsite</p> <p>Location: Kohler, WI</p> <p>Opportunity</p> <p>The Production Assistant III is responsible for preparing, packaging, serving, and merchandising premium, freshly made products while delivering exceptional customer service. You'll work in a fast-paced, upscale environment where quality, cleanliness, and product expertise are essential. This role requires attention to detail, food safety awareness, product knowledge, and a passion for helping customers make informed choices.</p> <p>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Greet guests warmly and assist with product selection, portion recommendations, cooking or reheating tips, and slicing preferences </li><li>Provide knowledgeable recommendations on products, pairings, and preparation methods </li><li>Slice, weigh, cut, trim, and package products to store standards and customer requests while using proper techniques and equipment. </li><li>Prepare fresh foods according to store recipes and standards </li><li>Ensure all items are properly labeled </li><li>Maintain attractive and well-stocked cases that reflect the store's premium image </li><li>Rotate products to ensure freshness, quality and minimize waste </li><li>Maintain department organization standards in back stock areas and front of house </li><li>Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including proper handling, storage, and cleaning procedures </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment </li><li>Monitor product freshness and rotate stock to ensure quality </li><li>Opening or closing the department for operation </li><li>Create daily food preparation lists </li><li>Process and track shrink/waste </li><li>Follow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environment </li><li>Work closely with other departments to support cross-functional needs and smooth operations </li><li>Work in multiple food prep areas as needed </li><li>Training of new team members as needed </li><li>Will complete all duties and requests as assigned by management </li></ul> <p>This is a full-time position, working weekdays & weekends. Shifts vary between 6:00am - 8:00pm.</p> <p>Skills/Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Highschool diploma or equivalency required </li><li>Must be 18 years old or older and have ability to obtain ServSafe certification </li><li>1+ years previous food production or service experience required </li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills </li><li>Knowledge and passion of food and food preparation </li><li>Ability to read and follow a recipe </li><li>Ability to operate slicers, scales, and other equipment safely </li><li>Ability to use POS systems and comfortable with cash handling </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time </li><li>Flexible availability, including early morning, nights, weekends, and holidays </li></ul> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.</p> <p>The hourly range for this position is $17.90 - $26.80.
