Led by an exclusive group of Financial Advisors throughout the United States, JPMWM offers clients a broad suite of solutions - including investment advisory services, transactional activity, wealth advice and estate planning, and lending and liquidity management - with the goal of providing comprehensive advice across their entire balance sheet.</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>As a Vice President, Family Engagement & Governance within JPMorgan Wealth Management, you will collaborate with Financial Advisors and client families on the qualitative opportunities, challenges, and issues at the intersection of family and wealth. Those domains are: Family Dynamics, Family Governance and Decision-making, Philanthropy, Family Learning and Development, and Transition Planning. This role requires expertise in family governance, decision-making frameworks, and crafting multigenerational education, along with strong facilitation, communication, and collaborative skills.</p> <p>Reporting to the Managing Director of Family Engagement & Governance, the VP is intentionally structured as a developmental pathway toward the Executive Director level. This is a newly created individual contributor role with no direct reports.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Participate in client meetings and events as a subject matter expert alongside Financial Advisors and senior team members. </li><li>Guide the development of frameworks for family communication, alignment, and decision-making that reflect each family's values and goals. </li><li>Engage and educate younger generations in wealth stewardship and financial readiness topics. </li><li>Identify opportunities to involve multiple generations in navigating family wealth effectively, partnering with team directors as necessary. </li><li>Support content development and contribute to the internal skill building webcast, offered eight times per year. </li><li>Contribute to the creation of educational family wealth marketing materials, tools, and resources that engage clients across complex topics. </li><li>Support the design of educational experiences and curriculum with a focus on instructional quality, accessibility, and practical application. </li><li>Partner with Financial Advisors, practice management, and cross-functional colleagues to drive client impact and support department goals. </li><li>Manage competing priorities while delivering a high-touch client service experience. </li><li>Track and share business, industry and market developments to help identify opportunities and inform proactive engagement. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills</p> <ul> <li>5 plus years of experience in family governance with exposure to UHNW families; background may include financial planning, family advisory, non-financial wealth consulting, or educational program and content development. </li><li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>FINRA licensing: SIE within first 3 months; Series 7, and 66, with ongoing continuing education requirements. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. </li><li>Professional agility and comfortable in a dynamic fast paced environment. </li><li>Professional client service orientation, interpersonal and communication skills; credible with advisors and clients across all demographics and generations. </li><li>Entrepreneurial and self-directed; effective collaborator with market leaders and practice partners; able to operate with limited day-to-day supervision. </li><li>Curious, lifelong learner committed to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends. </li><li>Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for internal projects and client meetings. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills</p> <ul> <li>Familiarity with using LLM tools a plus. </li><li>Advanced degree in business, law, education, psychology, or curriculum design. </li><li>Facilitator with knowledge of curriculum and instructional design, experience design, process consultation, and change management. Consulting experience a plus. </li><li>Professional designations such as CFP, ChFC, CAM, AEP, CWM, CTEP, or CPA; candidates actively pursuing designations are welcome. </li><li>Technical fluency in learning science, law, tax, finance, or accounting. </li></ul> <p>Growth and Career Path</p> <p>This role is designed as a developmental pathway toward the Executive Director level within Family Engagement & Governance. The VP will develop and strengthen skills across all five domains, deepen client-facing capabilities, and expand strategic influence over time.</p>
