We want relationship-builders who are dedicated and passionate about making a difference for our students and community.</p> <p>Position Overview: Student Systems Leadership Specialist</p> <p>Hours/Day: 8</p> <p>Days/Year: School Year</p> <p>Compensation/benefits: will be based on qualifications</p> <p>Position Summary of Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>The successful candidate for the Student Systems Leadership Specialist position will provide leadership and build systems to support students, parents, staff and the district in increasing appropriate social emotional and instructional capacity that allows all students to meet or exceed expected growth each year, and eliminate predictability in achievement through practices of educational equity. The ideal candidate would be one who is advancing their career in leadership. We are seeking candidates who desire to advance their experience and influence in educational leadership.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Works with the principal/administrative team to plan, organize, guide, and direct the implementation of student support systems, student management, instruction, and communication. </li><li>Support the functionality of the buildings in which they work as a key member of the building leadership team. Executes building's student management plan including procedures for restorative practices, conflict management, restitution, suspension, dismissal, and re-entry. </li><li>Ensures practices that align with culturally proficient school systems aimed at reducing the student achievement gap. Advances building efforts to create empowering learning spaces that emphasize inclusion and culturally responsive pedagogy. </li><li>Maintains records of any student disciplinary actions taken in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and District policies. </li><li>Works with the principal in leading, coordinating and facilitating crisis management procedures. </li><li>Performs other duties of a comparable level or type, as required. Communicates the district's vision, mission, core values and beliefs and provides professional expertise and assistance to individuals, other district staff, and the community concerning areas of expertise/knowledge. Attends training sessions, conferences, seminars, district, and departmental meetings.
