<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Transportation/Bus Driver</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>2/26/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Bus Garage</p> <p>District:</p> <p>&nbsp Winton Woods City Schools&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS</p> <ul> <li>Winton Woods City School district is looking for positive people who are devoted to the safe transportation of our children* </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>A valid Ohio driver's license </li><li>A valid Class B CDL with Passenger and School Bus Endorsements or paid training will be provided </li><li>Safe driving record </li><li>Ability to pass a background check </li><li>Ability to work effectively with others </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and adminstration </li><li>Excellent attendance record </li><li>A love of children of all ages </li><li>Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Transports authorized students to and from school </li><li>Transports authorized students to and from extra-curricular activities as necessary </li><li>Observes all mandatory safety regulations for school buses. </li><li>Obeys all traffic laws </li><li>Maintains discipline when students are on the bus </li><li>Inspects bus before each operation for mechanical defects </li><li>Reports student misconduct to the proper authority </li><li>Keeps assigned bus clean and reports any mechanical problems to the transportation supervisor </li><li>Maintains an assigned schedule </li><li>Picks up and discharges students only at authorized stops </li><li>Reports all accidents and completes required reports in a timely fashion </li><li>Posts and enforces bus regulations such as playing and eating bans </li></ul> <p>Competitive salary based upon negotiated collective bargaining agreement</p> <p>The Winton Woods City School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
