Serve as the patient's advocate when collaborating with the healthcare team to determine suitable therapeutic interventions. Implementing an individualized music therapy treatment plan that is consistent with any other developmental, rehabilitative, habilitative, medical, mental health, preventive, wellness care, or educational services being provided to the client. Promotes family-centered care and facilitates the strengthening of positive coping and resiliency skills within the healthcare setting. Provides ongoing assessment of interventions used.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Music Therapy required.</p> <p>Certification as Music Therapist - Board Certified required from the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
