<p>Senior Maintenance Technician</p> <p>Coleshill Birmingham</p> <p>Monday - Friday 10pm to 6am</p> <p>Competitive</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and qualified Technician to join our team at the Birmingham Depot. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of maintaining and enhancing our mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Your responsibilities will encompass Planned Preventative Maintenance, swift resolution of system breakdowns, defect repairs, and the overall upkeep and optimization of our depot facilities and automation systems.</p> <p>Role Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance. </li><li>Engage and manage external contractors. </li><li>Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours. </li><li>Assisting and manage the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects. </li></ul> <p>In this role you will be required to stand and walk for most of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.</p> <p>Key Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum recognised Level 3 engineering, electrical, or mechanical qualification. </li><li>Experience working within a maintenance department. </li><li>Experience working with automated conveyor systems. </li><li>Experience fault finding within a an electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. </li><li>Desirable qualifications: IOSH or NEBOSH. </li><li>Desirable knowledge: Management of a technical team </li></ul> <p>Our benefits</p> <ul> <li>22 days (pro rata) paid annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with length of service </li><li>Medicash- a health cash program to assist with day-to-day healthcare costs, such as eyecare or prescriptions </li><li>iTrent Financial Wellbeing - a financial wellbeing application which allows for flexible control of your finances </li><li>Access to High Street discounts </li><li>Employee Assistance Programme </li><li>Contributory Pension Scheme </li><li>Accredited Training Programmes available (Education paid for by the company via the Apprenticeship Scheme) </li></ul> <p>We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if sufficient applications are received</p>
