Provides courteous, cooperative, and timely service to patients, visitors and staff.</p> <p>What Pharmacy Technician will do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepares, packages, and distributes medication orders per physician request, pharmacist request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures and protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Contributes to effective and quality operation of the department.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains logs, records, and other required files and documentation; answers telephone and pneumatic tube; and handles cash transactions.</p> </li><li> <p>Processes medication charges and credits according to established policy.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other related duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>What Pharmacy Technician will need:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school education or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Pharmacy Technician Licensure in the State of Michigan.</p> </li><li> <p>One year of pharmacy work experience.</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
