<p>The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards. </li><li>Shampoo carpets in the public areas according to hotel standards. </li><li>Polish furniture as needed. </li><li>Handle all requests for luggage assistance in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner. </li><li>Clean guestrooms as needed, ensuring all trash and soiled linens are removed. </li><li>Have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures. </li><li>Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order. </li><li>Maintain storage of hotel equipment in proper area. </li><li>Keep all hallways and public areas clean, neat, and vacuumed. </li><li>Maintain the organization of guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens. Restock the amenities closet and linen as needed.
