You will lead a team of 3-4 individuals, overseeing the drafting and completion of projects, and coordinating project progress and team communication.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead projects from initial feasibility studies through construction completion. </li><li>Direct and manage a team of 3-4 people on various projects. </li><li>Execute architectural drafting and prepare construction documents. </li><li>Coordinate project progress and ensure effective communication within the team. </li><li>Oversee the project from design documentation to the completion of construction. </li><li>Ensure compliance with Building Code and ADA requirements for commercial uses. </li><li>Develop a comprehensive understanding of how to construct a complete building shell. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in architecture and design. </li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Procore. </li><li>Solid understanding of architectural design, project management, drafting, design development, schematic design, and construction documentation. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5-10 years of relevant experience. </li><li>Experience with healthcare, schools, retail, office, and strip malls. </li><li>Hands-on experience with all phases of projects, rather than specializing in one phase. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment is a dynamic studio-style setting, operating from 9am to 6pm with a half-hour lunch break. The team consists of 2 Directors, 2 Designers, and 8 Architects and Draftsmen.
