<p>The candidate will be responsible for program execution, will lead cross functional teams and guarantees all deliverables and targets identified in the approved initiative over the project development (cost, time, quality and performance).</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Manages all the aspects of the assigned program to assure cost, time, quality and performance achievement </li><li>Coordinates cross functional Platform team involved in program targets achievement </li><li>Responsible to ensures Program budget achievement identifying all possible efficiencies vs. approved business case </li><li>Ensures procedures, best practices and methodologies application according to required standards and leads program documentation creation, monitoring and updating in line with Global Powertrain (Propulsion Systems) Development Process </li><li>Responsible to ensures product readiness to support approved launches while defining appropriate timing milestones for the given project and leading the change review meetings </li><li>Coordinates and support engineering teams to deliver prototype and production batches that meet vehicle / program requirements </li><li>Co-leads proactive risk management tasks with QM and Platform team (i.e LUR), tracks/leads risk status update </li><li>Supports the technical reviews/evaluations in respect to program targets/milestones. </li><li>Leads the responses to investigate/action bulletins related to product/process changes </li><li>Coordination and implementation of Value Optimization and Quality Improvement activities </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degree field </li><li>A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field </li><li>Familiarity with automotive engine design, components, and testing </li><li>Strong interpersonal communication, team/leadership skills/experience </li><li>Critical character traits to ensure success: Organized, Action Oriented, Dealing with Ambiguity, Customer Focus, Problem Solving </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree in with emphasis in Business, Finance, Management, or Engineering </li><li>PMP Certification </li><li>5 years or more in design, development and / or validation of propulsion systems </li></ul>
