<p>Duties</p> <p>Oswego Community Unit School District 308 is currently recruiting exceptional candidates for the position of Assistant Principal for Special Education at Murphy Junior High School. This is a 206-day position starting on July 20, 2026.</p> <p>Please review the attached Job Description - Assistant Principal for Special Education for more details.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Qualified candidates will have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Principal or General Administrative Endorsement and one of more of the following: Special Education Endorsement and one or more of the following endorsements: Learning Behavior Specialist, Speech and Language Pathologist, School Social Worker, or School Psychologist; M.A. in Education Administration; 5 years of teaching experience at the junior high school level and excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of school improvement process and collaborative leadership style.</p> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>COMPENSATION: The recommended candidate for this position will receive a regionally competitive salary range of $83,800-$87,000 depending on educational background and experience.</p> <p>BENEFITS: Full-time Associates enjoy a robust selection of healthcare benefits including employer paid Life and AD&D insurance, Long Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), as well as three medical plans to choose from including PPO and HMO plans.
