<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The IT Asset Management Specialist I is responsible for provisioning, imaging, and shipping laptops and other end-user equipment, as well as providing front-line technical support to users. This role blends physical hardware support with traditional Tier 1 service desk responsibilities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and customer-focused, capable of managing both task-based workflows and live user support.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Work Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive, inventory, and prepare IT hardware for deployment (e.g., laptops, phones, accessories) </li><li>Image, configure, and ship end-user devices following documented procedures </li><li>Maintain stock levels, shipping logs, and documentation related to hardware provisioning </li><li>Handle incoming IT support requests through ticketing platform, phone, or walk-ups </li><li>Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues </li><li>Escalate complex issues or trends following team procedures </li><li>Provide timely updates and communication with users about open tickets </li><li>Use knowledge base resources and contribute updates to documentation </li><li>Coordinate with other IT staff for escalations, handoffs, or delivery timing </li><li>Participate in team meetings and training sessions </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements:</p> <p>Estimated 0-5% time spent:</p> <ul> <li>Local travel may be required for equipment pickup or delivery between sites </li><li>No regular overnight travel required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or IT certification preferred </li><li>1 year of experience in a technical support or warehouse/shipping role preferred </li><li>Familiarity with imaging software and hardware configuration </li><li>Experience with service desk or ticketing systems </li><li>Basic understanding of IT hardware (laptops, peripherals, phones) </li><li>Ability to follow detailed documentation and procedures </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for periods of time </li></ul> <p>Licensure, Certification, Registration or Designation:</p> <ul> <li>CompTIA A+ or equivalent - Preferred </li><li>ITIL v4 Foundations - Preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication and customer service skills </li><li>Basic troubleshooting ability </li><li>Organizational and time management skills </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on commitments </li><li>Willingness to learn new tools and processes </li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, task-driven environment </li></ul> <p>InnovAge Service Standards Requirements:</p> <p>Safety, Accountability, Caring, Integrity, Quality</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>InnovAge is dedicated to empowering seniors to live independently, allowing them to age in their own homes and communities safely.
