<p>General Summary:</p> <p>The Production Manager is responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of a fast-moving warehouse environment, training, and mentoring MDE (Master Data Expert) personnel to ensure proficiency in operational procedures. Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within the warehouse function, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met and ensuring that staff comply with health, safety and standard operating procedures. Continuous monitoring of WIOSS daily reports for specific customer needs is essential, alongside providing proactive support for new item setup, including comprehensive new item profiling.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ensure all company processes and policies are being adhered to.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide KPI statistics and trend analysis on regular intervals to ensure all departments performance are measurable, traceable, and being met.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for measuring, coaching, and developing all Supervisors and Leads as well as interviewing for open positions on all levels.</p> </li><li> <p>Relay relevant information to all colleagues.</p> </li><li> <p>Problem item analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Master data, data base analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Machine setup analysis</p> </li><li> <p>Report all accidents and injuries using correct protocol.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure work assignments are released to all teams and production goals are being met.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete daily/weekly audits.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform site walk to identify areas of opportunity.</p> </li><li> <p>Organize and conduct weekly performance meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Skills and Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience?managing associates</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to communicate effectively with variety of individuals</p> </li><li> <p>Strong attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Good interpersonal skills and judgment in communicating with staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Receptive to management development suggestions and willing to seek additional knowledge to facilitate job growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and oral communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have very strong customer service orientation with high sense of urgency in meeting objectives and deadlines.</p> </li><li> <p>Must possess the ability to formulate and utilize advanced planning tools and to manage time in an efficient manner</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in MFC</p> </li><li> <p>PLC (TEVIS)</p> </li><li> <p>CPU zero-point setup</p> </li><li> <p>Operations processes</p> </li><li> <p>LCC monitoring</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience/Certification:</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</p> </li><li> <p>3+ years of Supervisor Experience</p> </li><li> <p>Previous experience with material handling automation in an automated warehouse a plus</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's Degree + 1 yr relevant experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Continuous walking, climbing and standing.</p> </li><li> <p>Lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 pounds</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work at heights of 90 feet.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to adapt to temperature changes in a warehouse environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Shifts:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Flexibility to work shifts as assigned including nights and weekends.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work overtime as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Visit our web site at?www.witron.com</p> <p>Witron is an Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
