We deeply care about our team-members and partners and strive to provide a culture where people feel valued and inspired.</p> <p>Job Description: The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the dining room operations in a senior living community, ensuring that meals are served in a timely and efficient manner, and maintaining a high level of customer service. The supervisor will manage a team of servers, ensure that the dining area is clean and organized, and monitor inventory levels.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and supervise dining room staff, ensuring that they are trained and adhere to policies and procedures </li><li>Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, ensuring that orders are placed in a timely manner </li><li>Ensure that the dining room is clean and organized, and that tables are set up properly </li><li>Ensure that meals are served on time, and that food is of high quality </li><li>Greet residents and guests, and ensure that they have an enjoyable dining experience </li><li>Monitor resident satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints in a timely manner </li><li>Collaborate with the culinary team to create menus and special events </li><li>Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues to the maintenance team </li><li>Maintain a safe and healthy environment by following sanitation and safety procedures </li><li>Attend meetings and trainings as required </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a dining room or restaurant setting </li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills </li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions </li><li>Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time </li><li>ServSafe certification preferred </li></ul>
