<p>Job#: 3028789</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Remote Cleared Database Management Analyst III</p> <p>Location: Remote</p> <p>Employment Type: Contract</p> <p>Role Overview</p> <p>The cleared Database Management Analyst III is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing database management operations, software development environments, and integrated development processes supporting mission-critical systems. The position requires extensive experience in engineering or information technology and the ability to lead technical teams involved in software development and computer-based training systems. The ideal candidate will manage development environments, coordinate configuration and asset management activities, and ensure database and software lifecycle processes align with organizational security and operational standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage and maintain enterprise database systems to ensure reliability, performance, and security. </li><li>Oversee Integrated Development Environment (IDE) operations and Configuration and Asset Management (CAM) processes. </li><li>Lead and coordinate technical teams supporting software development and computer-based training systems. </li><li>Support development and maintenance of Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software. </li><li>Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. </li><li>Collaborate with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to design and implement database solutions. </li><li>Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimization strategies. </li><li>Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning. </li><li>Maintain documentation related to system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. </li><li>Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and analysts. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. The Government will accept a minimum of 18 years of professional experience related to the labor category in lieu of a degree.</p> <p>Experience: More than 15 years of professional experience in engineering or IT, with demonstrated experience managing database systems and development environments. Experience leading technical teams in software development and computer-based training systems is required.</p> <p>Clearance: Must be capable of acquiring/maintaining an Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.</p> <p>Certifications: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP).</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. </li><li>More than 20 years of professional experience in engineering or IT. </li><li>Experience with Integrated Training and Maintenance Support Suite (ITMSS) software development. </li><li>A strong background in secure software development lifecycle processes. </li><li>Experience working in government or defense-related environments. </li></ul> <p>Compensation & Benefits</p> <p>The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00/hour to $90.00/hour.
