<p>Description</p> <p>Glenmoor Country Club is an upscale, family oriented, private club and golf course centrally located in beautiful Cherry Hills Village off of Belleview and I25. Our dedicated kitchen team is a critical piece in offering our members the best in upscale casual dining, patio, and special events.</p> <p>We are currently seeking Line Cooks to staff our mobile outdoor kitchen being utilized during a $35M renovation of our clubhouse. Hourly wage range: $23 to $25 DOE</p> <p>Deadline to apply for this position is May 30, 2025.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Position Summary Prepares meals by analyzing recipes, slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients; adding seasonings; verifying tastes; verifying doneness and taste; assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients; placing and arranging hot and cold elements using serving ware. May grill, sauté, roast, fry, and/or broil ingredients.Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Prepares meals by analyzing recipes and retrieving ingredients. </li><li>Prepares food ingredients by following recipes, slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping and mixing ingredients; adding seasons and verifying taste. </li><li>May complete meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, broiling ingredients; verifying doneness and taste, assembling, and refrigerating cold ingredients </li><li>Presents meals by placing and arranging hot and cold elements using plates, dishes, bowls, ramekins, and baskets. </li><li>Controls food costs and waste by adhering to recipes; following preparation standards </li><li>Maintains sanitary kitchen by adhering sanitation, storage, and refrigeration requirements and codes; cleaning equipment </li><li>Maintains food supply inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; notifying </li><li>Keeps food preparation equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; notifying </li><li>Enhances food preparation and organization by accepting ownership for troubleshooting and exploring opportunities to add value </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Solid ability to anticipate and solve problems </li><li>Solid ability to read English, and execute basic math skills </li><li>High School Diploma required </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <p>Exhibit good knife skills, understand and demonstrate all basic cooking methods, knowledge of proper food service sanitation methods and equipment,adherence to cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and organizational practices, and understanding of kitchen's ordering process.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONSFrequentlyCarrying, Climbing Stairs, Crouching, Grasping, Gripping, Handling, Kneeling, Reaching, Lifting (Above Shoulder), Pinch, Pulling (Horizontal), Pulling , (Vertical), Pushing (Horizontal), Pushing (Vertical), Lifting (Floor to Waist), Lifting (Waist to Shoulder), Reaching (Forward), Vision (Far), Reaching (Waist to Shoulder), Reaching (Above Shoulder), Reading, Repetitive Motions, Sitting, Standing, Wrist Deviation (Wrist Extension), Reaching (Floor to Waist), Vision (Near), Walking, Wrist Deviation (Pronation), Wrist Deviation (Radial Deviation), Wrist Deviation (Supination), Wrist Deviation (Ulnar Deviation), Stooping, Wrist Deviation (Wrist Flexion),</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Contacts are primarily within the department or function with occasional cross-functional interfaces. Some limited external customer contact on routine matters.</p>
