This entry-level supervisory role is ideal for candidates with at least two years of experience in the IDD field. The position centers on hands-on direct care while offering exposure to light supervisory duties as you grow in the role.</p> <ul> <li>Conducting orientation, ongoing training and supervision of 7 Direct Support Professionals </li><li>Staff scheduling </li><li>Coordination of medical appointments for individuals supported in the program </li><li>Monitoring inventory of the home's groceries, medical and household supplies and purchasing supplies regularly </li><li>Tracking and documentation of receipts and expenditures </li><li>Ensuring compliance and accuracy of daily documentation </li><li>Ensuring routine vehicle maintenance is performed on company vehicles </li><li>Regular communication with nursing staff on medication needs within home </li><li>Provide occasional transportation to individuals supported in the home, local travel </li><li>Ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>What Makes You a Great Fit:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 18 years of age. </li><li>1-2 years of previous supervisory experience, preferably in the Human Services field. </li><li>High school diploma/GED equivalent required, a two-year degree related to Human Services preferred. </li><li>1 or more years of experience working in the field of developmental disabilities </li><li>To qualify candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance </li><li>Candidates must be flexible to provide on-call support outside of regular business hours </li><li>Proficiency with computers specifically MS 365 and MS Office and able to quickly learn and adapt to changing technology </li><li>Person-centered, patient, and kind </li><li>Dependable, adaptable, flexible </li><li>Observant and detail oriented </li><li>Positive role-model for others and able to work on a team </li><li>Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment </li><li>Must be reliable, flexible and possess good decision-making and communication skills </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>We believe in supporting not only those we serve but also each other, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment for all.
