<p>JOB GOAL:</p> <p>The Testing Coordinator is responsible for the planning, coordination, administration, and reporting of standardized testing programs at the high school level. This role ensures compliance with district, state, and federal testing regulations and supports students and staff in the implementation of testing accommodations and schedules.</p> <p>To structure the learning environment to study the integrated social studies program outlined by the LRSD Curriculum Guides.</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:</p> <p>Ten (10) month (205 days) teaching contract, plus Benefits Package. NOTE: Precise placement within the salary range on the teacher pay schedule will be determined based upon education and experience. FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field </li><li>Valid teaching certificate (if applicable per district/state requirements) </li><li>Must meet Arkansas certification requirements in Secondary Social Studies. </li><li>Strong organizational and communication skills </li><li>Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities </li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information </li><li>Ability to teach to differences and sensitivity to cultural differences </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Education, School Administration, or a related field </li><li>Experience in testing coordination or administration </li><li>Familiarity with testing platforms and student data systems (e.g., College Board, ACT, PowerSchool) </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position.</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and oversee all standardized assessments (e.g., SAT, ACT, PSAT, AP Exams, state-mandated tests, and district benchmark tests). </li><li>Develop and communicate testing schedules to administration, staff, students, and parents. </li><li>Ensure all testing materials are ordered, secured, distributed, and returned according to testing protocols. </li><li>Train school staff on testing procedures, security protocols, and roles during assessments. </li><li>Maintain accurate records and reports related to testing, including attendance, accommodations, and irregularities. </li><li>Collaborate with special education and ELL departments to ensure appropriate accommodations are provided. </li><li>Serve as the liaison with district/state testing offices and testing companies. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all testing guidelines and ethical standards. </li><li>Monitor testing environments to uphold security and integrity. </li><li>Analyze and report assessment data to support instructional decisions and school improvement efforts. </li><li>Support students and families in understanding testing requirements and results. </li><li></li><li>Willingness to perform hands-on experiments with students. </li><li>Structures the classroom for cooperative learning activities. </li><li>Structures the learning environment to enable students to study the integrated social studies program outlined by the LRSD Curriculum Guides. </li><li>Evaluates equipment and supplies and work with the department head to replace supplies. </li><li>Meets and instructs assigned classes at the designated location and time. </li><li>Plans a program of study that, as much as possible, meets the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students. </li><li>Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students. </li><li>Prepares for classes assigned and shows written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor. </li><li>Encourages students to set and maintain high standards of classroom behavior. </li><li>Employs a variety of instructional techniques, consistent with the physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the individuals or student groups involved. </li><li>Assesses the accomplishments or students on a regular basis and provides progress reports as required. </li><li>Demonstrates knowledge of lab safety procedures in dealing with situations in which accidents could happen. Occasionally the employee must lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) or more pounds. This position requires accurate perceiving of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational materials and/or objects, and providing oral information. Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period, and to be physically present and at assigned work, with only infrequent unexcused absences, during the contract year. Additional technical skills, knowledge, and abilities may be recommended by immediate supervisor and approved by the Human Resources Director.</p>
