<p>TITLE: BHS Stipend Opportunity: Mental Health Awareness Provider</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services Department or their designee</p> <p>STIPEND POSITION OVERVIEW: The Behavioral Health Services Department (BHS) seeks a current BHS School Psychologist or BPS Social Worker to facilitate mental health awareness events in-person or online with students and families after the school day.</p> <p>This opportunity will occur primarily from February 1, 2026, to June 1, 2026, as needed up to 12 hours.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>The BHS School Psychologists or BPS Social Worker will need to develop, coordinate, and implement mental health services or events for students or families after school hours. They will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Scheduling: scheduling the event, finding physical space or creating a Zoom link, and sharing logistics of the MH awareness event with BHS to put in the family newsletter. </li><li>Data: Maintain and report attendance, share data and presentation information about the event to the Senior Director of Behavioral Health Services and/or Mental Health Awareness Coordinator </li><li>Communications: develop communications about MH awareness events and communicate with BPS families to promote events in collaboration with BHS. </li><li>Implementation: Planning and implementing MH awareness events. </li><li>Materials: Pick up, distribute, and organize materials for the event. </li><li>Feedback: Ensure that all participants complete a feedback survey </li></ul> <p>The stipend will be paid at the hourly rate of $59.39 and once the responsibilities are completed.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED:</p> <ul> <li>Currently working in Boston Public Schools; </li><li>Appropriate school psychologist or Social work licensure. </li></ul>
