<p>Position: Delivery & Set up Driver</p> <p>Role Overview: Responsible for the efficient and safe pick-up, relocation, and delivery of office equipment. Installation and networking of devices may be necessary. The driver's quality and professionalism directly impact future customer decisions. Basic training on delivered devices is required. Must meet all federal DOT requirements and delivery safety standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Safely deliver equipment to the correct location.</p> <p>Maintain log books per DOT regulations (electronic or manual).</p> <p>Conduct pre and post-trip reviews ensuring vehicle safety and cleanliness.</p> <p>Perform pick-ups during deliveries to minimize costs.</p> <p>Conduct basic installations: setting up IP addresses, downloading print drivers, removing hard drives, backing up/uploading customer's address book, and providing basic customer training.</p> <p>Participate in safety programs and pre-call customers when applicable.</p> <p>Achieve expected productivity levels.</p> <p>Exhibit strong technical and customer relation skills.</p> <p>Identify customer needs and refer calls to appropriate parties.</p> <p>Provide feedback to service teams on networking and installation.</p> <p>Maintain professional appearance in driver uniform.</p> <p>Contact dispatch/service department if technician assistance is needed.</p> <p>Ensure equipment configuration matches documentation.</p> <p>Secure equipment in the van/truck.</p> <p>Capture electronic customer signatures upon transaction completion.</p> <p>Ensure all paperwork is signed and processed.</p> <p>Load/off-load trucks as needed.</p> <p>Train new drivers on products and proper loading techniques.</p> <p>Follow accident/incident reporting guidelines.</p> <p>Conduct cycle counts and inventory reconciliation when required.</p> <p>Reconcile inventory at the end of the day and report discrepancies.</p> <p>Maintain professional appearance in uniform.</p> <p>Meet productivity/quality standards set by the manager.</p> <p>Handle inventory valued up to $1,000,000.</p> <p>Overnight stays may be required.</p> <p>Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, stair climber, pallet jack).</p> <p>Perform other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Safe driving record and history.</p> <p>Online technical training focused on networking and installation.</p> <p>On-the-job training with field technicians.</p> <p>Eligibility to drive a commercial vehicle per FMCSR regulations.</p> <p>Valid driver's license in accordance with company policy.</p> <p>Minimum two years of medium-duty truck driving experience.</p> <p>Pass a road test.</p> <p>Valid and current medical card.</p> <p>Be at least 20 years old and properly licensed in the current state of residence.</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent education.</p> <p>Valid commercial driver's license if applicable per state.</p> <p>Ability to read maps and electronic GPS.</p> <p>Overnight stays may be required based on DOT regulations or peak periods.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <p>Physically handle oversized and overweight equipment.</p> <p>Identify at-risk behaviors and make quick corrections.</p> <p>Strong customer presentation and communication skills.</p> <p>Familiarity with smart phones and tablets.</p> <p>Basic computer skills.</p> <p>Adequate technical skills to install/network equipment.</p> <p>Methodical approach to problem-solving.</p> <p>Adequate reading, math skills, and legible writing.</p> <p>Potential certification in warehouse equipment operation.</p> <p>Working Conditions and Demands:</p> <p>Follow appropriate lifting/moving procedures to avoid injuries.</p> <p>Frequent stooping, bending, squatting, and kneeling.</p> <p>Lift equipment weighing up to 100 pounds; move equipment up to 1000 pounds.</p> <p>Work assignments include office, warehouse, and van/truck environments.</p> <p>Exposure to chemical solvents and cleaners.</p> <p>Ability to work independently.</p>
