<p>Apply your experience with individuals working towards recovery from drug and alcohol addiction at BHN!</p> <p>Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Recovery Specialist in the Unity Place South program at Behavioral Health Network!</p> <p>Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the Unity Place South program with the following:</p> <ul> <li>Organizing care activities and assisting nurses and counselors in the management of individuals served, facilitating their participation in unit programs and activities. </li><li>Establishing and maintaining therapeutic and collaborative relationships with individuals served and members of the health care team. </li><li>Monitoring medication administration and oversight and documenting incoming and outgoing medications. </li><li>Recognizing the unique needs of individuals served with dual diagnosis, medication assisted treatment, and other special populations, and adjusting communication style to obtain positive therapeutic outcomes. </li><li>Assisting doctors and nurses with exams and simple procedures. </li><li>Ensuring a safe and clean environment, including searching individuals' belongings and additional items to maintain a contraband-free environment. </li><li>Performing intakes, admissions and discharges. </li><li>Maintaining strict confidentiality of individuals served information at all times in accordance with 42 CFR. </li></ul> <p>Who are we?</p> <p>The Unity Place South at BHN, a 16-bed co-ed program in Springfield, MA, provides residential rehabilitation services to individuals suffering from addiction and mental illness.
