<p>Restaurant Manager Roles/Expectations</p> <p>The purpose of a Chick-fil-A Restaurant Manager (RM) is threefold:</p> <p>? Ensure daily execution of our mission to be the Most Caring Company, and our Strategy of Winning</p> <p>Hearts Every Day</p> <p>? Lead the business in achieving our sales/transactions goals, as well as adhering to our Food Safety and</p> <p>Food Quality requirements</p> <p>? Protect and nurture the culture within the team and grow their commitment to our core values: Care</p> <p>for Yourself, Care for Your Teammates, Care for the Guest and Care for the Business</p> <p>RMs will fill any one of 4 roles on a shift.</p> <p>Manager on Duty (MOD), Drive-thru Lead, Hot Production or Cold Production Lead. Leadership of a</p> <p>certain area involves; management of systems and processes, team engagement, and measurement of</p> <p>real business results in that area.</p> <p>Tasks/Abilities</p> <p>MOD</p> <p>? Open and/or close the restaurant following operational and safety standards.</p> <p>? Manage labor cost by ensuring TMs clock in/out as scheduled</p> <p>? Ensure proper fulfillment and timeliness of all catering orders.</p> <p>? Issue performance coaching and/or documentation for tardiness or missed shifts, uniform violations,</p> <p>general performance</p> <p>? Cash management - safe and tills counted every shift, inaccuracies reported and followed up on</p> <p>? Report TM injuries through Sedgwick (Insurance company)</p> <p>Drive-thru Lead</p> <p>? Push transaction counts by encouraging speed and accuracy</p> <p>? Assess and redeploy TMs to relieve bottlenecks and close gaps</p> <p>? Set and communicate goals for each hour</p> <p>? Ensure tech and gear are put away after shift, everything is in working order</p> <p>? Communicate business level with kitchen Hot/Cold Production Leads</p> <p>? Manage Food Cost daily by reducing waste and checking quality products are received by vendors</p> <p>? Understand and execute SAFE Daily Critical audits every shift</p> <p>? Ensure food safety practices are being followed, i.e. timers, chicken cool down process, date labels</p> <p>? Print prep reports for daily use All</p> <p>? Overall guest satisfaction</p> <p>? Train, Evaluate, Coach, Develop, and Mentor Team Members</p> <p>? Communicate goals, upcoming events/promotions to the team</p> <p>? Recognize TM achievements, celebrate life events, and mentor in times of need</p> <p>Required Skills/Abilities:</p> <p>? Excellent verbal, written communication skills & customer service skills</p> <p>? Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</p> <p>? Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines</p> <p>? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</p> <p>? Strong supervisory and leadership skills</p> <p>? Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate</p> <p>? Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment</p> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <p>? 2+ years of CFA or other relevant experience</p> <p>? Must be able to communicate proficiently both written and orally in English</p> <p>? Some college experience desired but not required</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>? Opportunity for 4/40 work week</p> <p>?
