<p>Contributor/Correspondent</p> <p>The Role</p> <p>City Cast Twin Cities is seeking individuals who are passionate about their cities, and have a few areas of expertise they can talk about on mic in a smart, funny, entertaining way, to be correspondents for City Cast Twin Cities. We'll be hiring 3-6 individuals for this part-time contract assignment and we're looking for a wide variety of voices. If you know a lot (and love to talk) about topics such as local transportation, politics, food, parenting, culture, parks, or a particular neighborhood - we want to hear from you! Correspondents will be regular guests on the City Cast Twin Cities podcast and across our daily social and newsletter products.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Join the City Cast Twin Cities host and team members regularly for conversations about topics or news items </li><li>Do light preparation and research for podcast episodes </li><li>Contribute story and topic ideas for podcast episodes </li><li>Serve as an ambassador for the City Cast Twin Cities brand, helping represent City Cast publicly </li><li>Occasionally contribute to or be featured on City Cast Twin Cities social and newsletter content </li><li>Engage positively with the brand's audience, members and fans </li></ul> <p>What You Bring</p> <ul> <li>A deep passion for the Twin Cities and an appreciation for and understanding of its complexity </li><li>The ability to talk in a compelling and relatable way about topics of great interest to locals </li><li>Charisma, humor, genuine interest, composure, collegiality and expertise or experience </li></ul> <p>The Contributor/Correspondent, Twin Cities will report to the Executive Producer, Twin Cities. This position is part-time on contract. The rate is $100 per episode for the first three episodes, after which it will transition to a retainer fee. You must be local, though work will be primarily remote.
