<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Calibrate UT equipment, take UT measurement for wall thickness integrity, record data on Win XL data program, read and follow written instructions, separate non-conforming parts from conforming parts, move product to subsequent routed operations, use the mercury electronic routing program. Records data for engineering and separates non-conforming products and moves good product to next routed operation. Perform ultrasonic inspections of metal stainless steel/nickel-based alloy/cobalt-based alloy investment castings for wall thickness measurements.</p> <p>Performs the following duties:</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <p>Perform UT Equipment calibrations, marking product with data point locations, operation of foot pedal to store data in software program, review of data for out of tolerance readings, and cleaning product when test has been completed. Candidates shall be able to complete 24 hours of classroom training and 275 hours of work experience/on the job training. Passing a general exam , specific exam , and practical exam is required for certification. Ability to read and interpret documents written in English, such as safety rules, general standard procedures, and part specific work instructions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee occasionally is required to stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
