<p>Financial Liaison</p> <p>Looking for a home-like work environment that has no agency and no mandating?</p> <p>"To glorify God by providing a continuum of care and services that demonstrates the love and compassion of Jesus Christ."</p> <p>Position Summary: The Financial Liaison serves as a key resource for residents, families, and internal teams by managing financial processes related to healthcare services. This role ensures accurate and timely handling of Medicaid applications, billing inquiries, and financial assistance programs while supporting revenue cycle operations. The Financial Liaison works collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff to resolve financial concerns, improve billing processes, and optimize collections.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Medicaid Applications & Financial Assistance </li><li>Assist residents and families with completing Medicaid applications and other financial aid forms. </li><li>Verify eligibility and coordinate with state agencies to ensure timely approval. </li><li>Billing & Revenue Cycle Management </li><li>Address resident and provider billing concerns promptly and professionally. </li><li>Review and process financial applications for accuracy and compliance. </li><li>Monitor and manage accounts receivable (AR) to ensure timely collections. </li><li>Collaborate with billing teams to resolve claims denials and reduce rejections. </li><li>Process Improvement & Compliance </li><li>Identify and implement improvements in billing workflows and revenue cycle processes. </li><li>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations. </li><li>Prepare and analyze financial reports related to collections, AR, and denial trends. </li><li>Customer Service & Communication </li><li>Serve as a liaison between residents, providers, and internal departments regarding financial matters. </li><li>Educate residents on available financial resources and payment options. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred. </li><li>Experience: </li><li>2+ years in healthcare finance, billing, or revenue cycle management. </li><li>Experience with Medicaid applications and claims processing strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of healthcare billing practices and insurance regulations. </li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite. </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Commitment to providing exceptional customer service. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>While performing the duties of this job, there are no extreme temperatures or working conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. May experience fluctuating temperatures when visiting a residential or business. The work environment is shared at times between the normal office/business environment and the residential care environment with minimum exposure to infection/disease with the use of standard precautions. </li></ul>
